The second instalment of Behind the Bottle takes you behind the scenes of our Texas takeover - and shows how one moment nearly ended the whole trip. 👀

Everything’s bigger in Texas - including our ambitions. We flew out to celebrate our Au Vodka US expansion, link up with Texan star Mexican OT, build huge in-store displays, capture bold content, and top it all off at the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight. 🥊

The goal was simple: show up LOUD across Texas with our gold vodka and flavoured vodka range. 🏆 But it wasn’t easy. We clocked five-hour drives between Houston and Dallas (twice), lived out of car boots filled with cases of premium vodka drinks and camera gear, and juggled endless hotel check-ins, location swaps, and tough schedules. 👎

From cowboy hats and boots to stockyard backdrops, we went all-in on Texas culture. Between ribs, rodeo bars, and neon nights, we captured the “gold meets grit” vibe that made the trip pop on socials. 📈

Not everything went to plan. Contracts stalled, timings slipped, and the Cybertruck scene fell into darkness - but with LEDs and quick thinking, we still got the shots. Long days and little sleep caused tensions, but humour and hustle kept the wheels turning. 🚌

Finally, we made it into AT&T Stadium for Paul vs Tyson - soaking up the atmosphere and banking content that showed AU Vodka America shining under the stadium lights. 🎥

Trips like this test everything - but they also prove what we’re about. Resilience + speed + creativity will always beat perfect plans. And in Texas, we showed up strong - on shelves, on screens, and in the moment. 🏆
