Win an Au Vodka ‘Student Room’ bundle giveaway

General

1. This giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is administered by Au Vodka Ltd (registration number: 09470442) incorporated in England and Wales in the United Kingdom with its registered office at Unit 25 Cwmdu Industrial Estate, Swansea, Wales, SA5 8JF ("Au Vodka”, “we", “us” or “our”).

2. By entering the Giveaway, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions herein (the “Giveaway T&Cs”) and we reserve the right to refuse any entry or refuse to award the Prize (as defined below) to anyone in breach of these Giveaway T&Cs.

3. The Giveaway is open to all residents of the UK, aged 18 years or over, except employees and officers of Au Vodka or any of their respective companies within the same group, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of the Giveaway.

Free-entry route

4. The Giveaway is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.

How to enter

5. The Giveaway will operate on two (2) recognised social media platforms, that being Au Vodka’s official Instagram page ‘@auvodka’ and Au Vodka’s official Facebook page ‘@auvodka’.

6. To enter the Giveaway, you must correctly follow the instructions as clearly stated on the Giveaway social media post (e.g., like, follow, comment etc.) during the Entry Period (as defined below). Such instructions may vary depending on the social media platform used for the relevant post. If the Giveaway operates across more than one social media platform, you are able to enter once on each platform for a higher chance of winning. It is your responsibility to make sure you follow the correct instructions for the relevant social media platform.

7. We do not encourage creating multiple user accounts on any one social media platform to enter the Giveaway. Any person identified to have used multiple accounts to enter the Giveaway multiple times, on any applicable social media platform, will not have any of their entries considered and may be banned from participating in future giveaways. We do not have to notify you if we are taking such action.

Starting date and closing date

8. The opening date for entries to the Giveaway is 6pm UK time on Tuesday 17 September 2024 (the “Opening Date”). The closing date for entries to the Giveaway is 6pm UK time on Tuesday 8 October 2024 (the “Closing Date”) (the period inclusive and between the Opening Date and Closing Period, being the “Entry Period”). Entries received after the Closing Date will not be counted. 

Choosing and identifying the winner

9. There will be one (1) winner of the Giveaway (the “Winner”) who will be selected by a random draw performed by a computer process (using all successful entries into the Giveaway) on or around Tuesday 8 October 2024.

Notifying the winner 

10. The Winner will be notified by direct message on social media from (and only from) our ‘@auvodka’ official and verified Instagram account/Facebook account (please check for the blue verified tick from the account that is purporting to be Au Vodka) before Tuesday 15 October 2024 to claim their Prize (as defined below). If the Winner does not respond within 48 hours of being notified by Au Vodka, then the Winner’s Prize will be forfeited, and we will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process as described in this condition ‎10.

11. Once the Winner has claimed their Prize in accordance with Condition ‎10, subject to the terms herein, we will make an announcement across our official social media pages that a valid award has taken place.

Verification of the winner

12. The Winner is subject to verification by Au Vodka, including but not limited to verification under these Giveaway T&Cs of the Winner’s (i) identity, (ii) eligibility, and (iii) compliance with the requirements to enter the Giveaway, which may include without limitation the Winner providing Au Vodka with a screenshot of their Instagram ‘story’ archive so as to evidence their ‘story’ share pursuant to the requirements to enter the Giveaway. The Winner is not a winner of any prize unless and until their identity, eligibility, compliance with the requirements to enter the Giveaway, and their entry, have all been verified, and the Winner has been notified that verification is complete.

Lost or delayed entries

13. We accept no responsibility for entries lost or not completed due to a technical fault of any kind. Proof of submitting an entry is not proof of receipt by us.

Prize terms 

15. The prize will be delivered to the Winner within fourteen (14) days of being notified of their win.

16. Once delivered, the Winner is solely responsible for the prize. 

17. The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and subject to availability. A cash substitution may be offered at the sole discretion of Au Vodka. If any particular product of the prize is out of stock by the time the Winner is chosen, similar product(s) alternative may be offered at the sole discretion of Au Vodka.

Limitation of liability

18. Au Vodka shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with the Giveaway or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including liability for fraud or death or personal injury arising from negligence) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

General

19. We will publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To complete this obligation, we will send the surname and county of the Winner to anyone who emails customerservices@auvodka.com within one (1) month after the Closing Date. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and/or winning entries being published or made available, please contact customerservices@auvodka.com. In such circumstances, please be aware that we must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request. We have an intention to use the Winner in post-event publicity, provided freely given consent from the Winner is obtained.

20. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry to the Giveaway. Au Vodka reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. 

21. Personal data supplied to us during the course of this Giveaway shall only be processed to administer the Giveaway or as otherwise set out in our Privacy Policy.

22. Our decisions regarding any aspect of the Giveaway is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

23. We reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or amend the Giveaway where it becomes necessary to do so, with no liability to any entrants and/or third parties.

24. The Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook. 

25. The Giveaway and all issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
